PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com respects
the privacy of our visitors’ personally identifiable information.
To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining
our information practices and the choices you can make about the
way we use your information.
Information Collection and Use
We ask that visitors provide us with certain information if visitors
wish to register to donate blood. The types of personally identifiable
information we collect during registration include: name, address,
e-mail address, and (optional) telephone number so people needing
blood may make an immediate contact.
We also may share this information with selected
outside third parties (e.g., marketers) to enable them to provide
you with opportunities to purchase products and services that
we believe may be of interest to you. As described below in the
Choices Section, you can request that we not share your information
with these third parties. This privacy policy does not cover third
parties’ use of your information.
If you wish to make a financial donation and
complete the full registration at our site and provide billing
information, we share your registration information with the third
party credit card company you selected to pay with, in order to
confirm you have an account in good standing, and to approve your
donation. Billing information that visitors provide at this site
is collected only on behalf of the credit card company you selected
and as described in the Terms and Conditions. PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com
does not maintain billing information for its own purposes or
share such information with other third parties.
Law Enforcement /Corporate Restructuring
We may disclose personally identifiable information in response
to legal process or when we believe in good faith that the law
requires it, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena,
or a law enforcement agency’s request. In addition, in the
event that all or substantially all of PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com
stock and/or assets are transferred or sold to another entity,
we may transfer such information to the acquiring entity.
Your Choices
Visitors who elect to make a reoccurring financial donation may
stop at any time by notifying your credit card company that you
first used to make the donation. In addition, during registration
we provide visitors with an opportunity to request that we not
share information with third parties. If at any time in the future
you would like to request that we not share your information with
third parties, you may send us e-mail at remove@PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com.
Please note that changing your preferences regarding marketing
communications from us will not prevent those companies with which
we already have shared your information from continuing to communicate
with you; you will need to notify these companies of your marketing
preferences separately.
