We are a USA based knowledge company
that has been helping people find information on the Internet
for almost 17 years – almost since the ‘beginning
of time on the Web’.
We utilize USA-based web servers
– comply with all USA laws and FTC regulations related to
the Internet (ie Cann-Spam, etc).
Some of our people work via the
Internet with people who live in the Philippines. Recently one
of their friends was in a serious auto accident and needed an
immediate large supply of fresh blood. The quantity of blood needed
exceeded the local supply.
That’s when we
became aware how many people who need fresh
blood currently search for donors in the event of an emergency.
Friends/neighbors started making
frantic phone calls and sending txts to other local acquaintances
asking: (a) would they be willing to donate blood today (b) the
type of blood they had.
We knew there was a better way – a more
modern method - to help quickly locate fresh
blood when it is needed.
Simple: Use the Internet to pre-organize volunteer
donors - in advance of an emergency.
Means you don’t
wait for an emergency to happen – then start looking for
appropriate donors.
You do it in reverse
order. You first identify potential blood donors - then
wait for an emergency.
Once a database of donors was built
on the Internet - then access could be provided to the blood information
24/7 - so a family, doctor, nurse, hospital, clinic could search
for appropriate donors nationwide in minutes - via email
– phone – txt.
The PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com
web site is the result. The web site’s usefulness to help
people save lives - is dependent upon how many people
participate in the volunteer Blood Donor database.
In turn, participation in the
database is dependent upon how many people are aware
of the web site’s availability. So if you have friends –
relatives – co-workers – medical personnel –
tell them about the Philippines Blood Registry - click Send
to a Friend
The design, development and initial operations of the
PhilippinesBloodRegistry.com
was made possible
by a grant from ThePacificaCompanies.com LLC.
The original grant will expire in February 2011. Hopefully
by that time, the minimal capital required to keep
the system operating will come from within the
Philippines through advertising
and financial
donations.
